BIOGRAPHY

Prominent Brazilian composer and conductor, several times awarded in and out of the country, with works also published in Venezuela, Germany and United States. Honored by their creations dedicated to the theater (Molière Prize) and the movies (Prêmio Governador do Estado de São Paulo and São Paulo Academy of Arts Critics Prize – APCA) and member of the Brazilian Academy of Music. Among their professor stand out: Magda Tagliaferro, Camargo Guarnieri, Alceu Bocchino, Francisco Mignone and Vladimir Ussachevsky and Mario Davidovsky at the University of Columbia (USA). He was director of the Universidade Livre de Música and the International Festivals of Campos de Jordão; chief conductor and artistic director of important national orchestras, being part of international seasons of prestigious theaters of Latin America. He is now teacher of orchestration, composition and conducting and associated conductor of the São Paulo’s University Chamber Orchestra (OCAM-USP).
